London Luton drop-off charge
What London Luton charges to stop at the terminal, what that buys you, and the free or cheaper way to do the same drop.
£9 for up to 12 minutes at the terminal.
That is £0.75 per minute. After that, £1 per extra minute.
The free way to do the same drop
The Long Stay Car Park is free for up to 2 hours, with a free shuttle bus that takes around 10 minutes to the terminal.
That is the airport's own wording, not our suggestion: where an airport publishes a free option, it is quoted here with its conditions.
How to pay, and what it costs to forget
- Deadline: Online payment up to midnight after the visit.
- Methods: Cashless and barrier-free system; online only.
- If you don't pay: a Enforcement charge of £95, reduced to £55 if paid within 14 days.
Worth knowing
Maximum stay in the Drop Off and Pick Up zone is 30 minutes; £1 per minute thereafter.

Checked 27 October 2026 against London Luton's own page. Charges change — the date is the promise, not the permanence.
