Gatwick drop-off charge
What Gatwick charges to stop at the terminal, what that buys you, and the free or cheaper way to do the same drop.
£10 for up to 10 minutes at the terminal.
That is £1 per minute. After that, £1 per extra minute. The charge is capped at £30.
The free way to do the same drop
Long Stay car parks are free for two hours, with a free shuttle transfer to the terminal.
That is the airport's own wording, not our suggestion: where an airport publishes a free option, it is quoted here with its conditions.
How to pay, and what it costs to forget
- Deadline: By midnight the day after you use the zones.
- Methods: Online or by phone.
Worth knowing
£1 for each additional minute up to 20 minutes, with a maximum daily charge of £30.
Sponsored link: if you book a transfer through it, this site earns a commission. It does not change the price you pay, and it never decides what a page says.
Checked 27 October 2026 against Gatwick's own page. Charges change — the date is the promise, not the permanence.
